can anyone who have been there around mid january tell me what should i pack for my son trip.what shoes will be good.i know that it will be the coldest time in korea.and what should he wear?

he is on a school trip in primary six.

yup.attended the school briefing.. roughly know what to pack already.thanks anyway....just thought someone who been to korea during winter time can give some advise..... but.....whaa Cry Cry Cry!!!! no reply...
so alot of people jus kaypo kaypo read read only......
i have done my research on the web roughly know what to prepare already.....

most important to survive in winter, protect the neck and feet. Wear thick socks and turtle-neck shirt. Usually the children living in those countries, they will wear 3-4 layers of clothings. No need to wash the clothes too often as the weather is dry , not perspiring at all.

I'm not sure about children, but for adults, this is what I experienced. If possible, get some long johns to wear inside, both top and pants. We went to korea this Jan, and at the airport we had to dig out our long johns, go to the toilet and put them on. I think without long johns we would have been unable to "tahan" the cold. Woollen socks will also help, as well as woollen gloves. My hands only stopped feeling frozen when I wore waterproof ski gloves that we bought at a ski shop there. Scarves are a must.
