I personally prefer gg there by air cos there was once I went there by cruise and only got to spend a couple of hours there..so not much that I could do..when I do go there, I usually stay at Berjaya cos I Looove the water chalets..so nice to be in a chalet in the middle of the sea....I cant really remember the charges cos the last time I went there was a few years ago   Smiley  I usually just go to the spa at the hotel and just relax....or go to town for abit of shopping...or go see the sights...I dont do much when I'm there cos I just go there to chill out and relax  Cool

Thanks Mel. Am still exploring the myriads options given the price going to Langkawi is almost equal if not slightly lesser than to Phuket or Bangkok. Anyway still got 2 mths plus to go.

Hi Peace! I went there twicw with my family. It's a great break away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. We really enjoyed our stay at Berjaya, as Mel has mentioned...the chalets were a refreshing sight in the day and at night, the sound of the waves breaking at the shores were music to our ears. And also in Langkawi, try and explore the outdoors! It is a great place for nature lovers, there are eagle (the island's icon) shows, fishing, snorkelling and also don't forget to hop onto Tasik Dayang Bunting! A very nice place to be with your loved ones!
