Taxi fare gona increase its fare for comfort/city/yellow cabs by 30cents due to its fuel surcharge on 17July2008. Means when you board the cab, u have to pay $3.10 instead of $2.80. I think the increase is mild, but it will be more if you take cabs everyday thru and flow to work 5 days a week($13.20 a month increase, so its quite a sum oso).
I think Carpool or cabsharing will help to solve this. We have this online carpool and cabshare exchange portal.
