Cause looking at a case here, supposingly you will be outstation for a year, thus instead of paying the roadtax, you lay your ride for that year, can it be done?

but lay up max is 3 years

tell them you wanna lay up your vehicle
you will be given a form to fill up the vehicles and owner particulars

after 1 year you can either renew the lay up (up to 3 years from the day you lay up) or proceed to pay the roadtax for the vehicle to be use.
