think in US if your wireless is not secure either by password or MAC filter, it also consider an offence..

Leaving my house door open but if you walk in without the invitation, then it's still consider an offence. I would advise everyone not to tap into anyone network. There is a software that can detect you're tapping into network not belonging to you and police can be call in.

Sometime is not wat ppl want to snoop the signal is becos they never secure it
if u on ur computer it will auto detect and u are on .....

It happen once to me i was online when i happen to check ...i was on other ppl network
so is this stealing? Haha

Our network is like our house.... who leave their house door open without securing it
Is the same as their network .......
U must have selected that network & connected to it last time, thus ur pc remembers it.
So whenever that network is avail since then, ur pc will auto connect to it.

There's a way to disable or prevent ur pc from auto connecting to other's netowork.
