heard from a few friends, that Vista will delete all illegally downloaded mp3 & those that u ripped from 'P' CD found in the hdd.
Dunno if this is true.

That's depend on how much of the info the SW OEM register with Microsoft. The more they pass to Microsoft, the more MS is able to help them to detect piracy but that also means that MS knows their SW a lot more ...
