thanks for all the advise!  i would want to keep to as basic as possible considering my potentially heavy expenses.  parts can slowly get later, ask them to mail them to mail to me shouldn't be a problem, but just get the set first.. definitely have to do more research.

u will get poisoned to buy better more expensive lenses, that how the manufacturers suck u dry dry.
I got a basic set, flash, wide angle lens & tele lens etc.
But once u see the pictures produced by those better & more expensive lenses, u will want to upgrade.
And these lenses are not cheap, they are in the range from $1000-$2500 each. U need a couples of them.

Camera body + kit lens = $1.6k
tele lens = $400-600
tri-pod = $100-160
bag = $60-120
dry box = $60-100
Flash = $650

Aboves are just basic setup & cheap lenses.

yah.. i will have better control than you one.. don't need to worry for me..  

and if i really work with the 2 photographers.. we can share our stuffs too..  and there will be other interns to share too..

Anyone have any recommendations for a good camera for everyday use? something average priced.... My husband wants to buy a canon but I think Lumix is good...
