Gotta be careful of Alan Photo, sometimes they sell export sets w/o warranty card. Check before leaving.

U must also look into the lenses.
U are not just buying a camera, u are buying the entire system, trust me, it is poison, will burn a big big hole in ur pocket once u step into DSLR.
Most important, go hold both cameras, feel it, see which u prefer, then take some pic with same settings, see which camera give u the pic u like most. Cos Canon & Nikon produce diff colour tone.
Next, plan ur purchase, eg lenses. What coverage are u looking at etc. Thus u must factor in the costs of such lenses.
Basically, u need a wide & a zoom lens.
Bags, tripods, drybox etc. all these will set u back another few hundred.
Hahaha... be prepare to spend another 2-3k.
