Oil refineries & storage are all located in Jurong island.
& S'pore is the largest exporter for oil.

Accidents do happened. But if u compare, much more ppl die on the road, then oil/petrol chemical related industries accident.

that is really true ... sometime it's the perception that create alarm ... dun hear dun hear, once hear an accident in refinery, it will start striking fear .. Wink
