This would save Punggolians a lot of money and time from having to trave all the way to the city (or the nearest...Yishun?).  Would also become a meeting place for Punggolians, encourage bonding!

I have been waiting for a movie theatre for years and still no sign of it. Sigh!
Always have to travel to Tampines (super crowded) or Yishun/Bishan for movie.

Would be great if Punggol could have one movie theatre for pple living in Punggol, Sengkang and Hougang.

Maybe if we have enough people posting that we want a theatre here, then the moderator can email the big players in cinemas e.g Shaw ?

Cinemas are dying. Even the cineplex in Jurong closed down.
