A few years ago, the media had been writing about the URA's plan to set up a horse riding centre to be part of Punggol's ' rustic charm '

It was reported that horse riding is just one of the many attractions intended for the rustic coastal area.

The development of a food and beverage establishment is also included in the overall plan. A park and a park connector is to join Punggol Park with Sengkang Park.

Today a re-visit to Punggol Point, saw the horse riding centre is up and running with a North & South Indian Restaurant in operation.

A building under construction situated adjacent to the horse riding centre probably will house food and beverages outlets.
