Hi guys,

just moved in with my Taiwanese wife a couple months ago. Used to stay with my parents at Siglap so still not too sure about the place.

Just changed job recently so now i have the time to go back to the gym after a 9 year hiatus. Wife complained that I'm fat. SO now I want to regain the physique I once had when I was a regular gym go-er.

Problem is, I can't locate any gymsnear to Punggol Field though I heard that there is one at Marina Country Club. Sounds expensive and I am not sure of the parking rates there.

Any recommendations for gyms in the immediate vicinity? I need gyms with free weights, smith machines, steppers and rowers. Oh and I would like to know if I have to share a station with 7 other people cuz that really puts me off.

Marina Country Club, yes, sounds very exclusive, but actual fact very run-down. Can park the car outside the club free of charge. The last time I made inquiry was $5 per gym and swimming per day.

You can try the SSC ClubFITT Gyms. It's more affordable.
