Experience:
I have taught for 6 years and have since embarked on my musical journey of educating young children and adults: offering music classes. Last year, i had the chance to teach music to a group of 7-12 year old students at a MOE primary school. I also had experience teaching piano to intellectually disabled kids, and to one who's diagnosed with ADHD. At the moment, i am doing free lance at a prestigious chinese pop music school where i handle children from 4-12 years old.

Students/Venue:
My students are between 3 and 60 years of age and i provide lessons at the convenience of the students' home.

Credentials:
I've staged various performances for events such as SIA Annual Christmas celebration, Lion City Club Christmas celebration, Singapore Arts Cafe performance, and other performances in a crowd of more than 5000. I was also involved to produce an album for the elderly by playing chinese oldies. Besides these, my ADHD student and i held a performance for an MCYS event to showcase his talent and was featured on CNA Get Real! in October 2008. Previously as a student conductor in my secondary school band, i have learned how to play the oboe, clarinet, flute and saxophone. I also had a crash course drums certificate from Yamaha and i play the guitar too.

Lesson Structure:
With these musical knowledge and performance experience, my lesson structure consists not only learning how to read scores and play them, but also attending music concerts of various genres of music, understanding and learning to play different musical instruments and also playing by ear. I believe in honing the skills of my students by introducing a vast mixture of pop, rock, blues and jazz music to enhance their musicality. I'll work on music composition to allow my students to explore their creativity as well. Lessons are usually catered and suited for each individual learning to make it fun, creative and enjoyable. At the moment, my youngest composer is 7 and he just did a christmas song for his own listening. Children's activities and story telling (about composers) are included in my lessons to harness their interest and love for music as a whole.

Currently:
I am pursuing my higher education in Classical Piano, Jazz Piano, Singing and Violin to upgrade my talent and skills.

Contact:
Should you require to contact me (Ms Wang) for Piano/Music education classes, please kindly do so at 98417580 or littlemusician@gmail.com. I'm residing at Punggol Field Blk 199A.

Have a great and pleasant day! Smiley
