start as young as possible. otherwise it becomes impossible to teach them.. too embarrasing after avoiding the topic for too long.. a great way to start would be to get children sex edu books for them. so we can read together.

I think you can start anytime, use "teachable moments". Like when watching TV together, when see pregnant woman or new babies, tell them stories. They will be fascinated
