We are in Punggol only exposed to neighbourhood school. Poor poor thing.

err....mee toh is not 'neighbourhood school'

Erm I beg to differ. Mee Toh School is a pretty good school. I know many parents who want to put their child in the school. Other so-called neighbourhood schools are also giving these top schools a run for their money.  Compassvale Primary School is actually not too bad. Other sought after primary schools in northeast area include Holy Innocents Primary School, PLMGS. 

Its not true that "neighbourhood" schools produce lousy students.

Mee Toh used to be in Race Course Road. Due to super low student intacts, it was nearly closed down before moving to Punggol. To be consider a 'top school', Mee Toh still has a long way to go.

My daughter is in Mee Toh and I realise that her english is degraded (due to the kids she mixed with, mostly of them speak singlish) though chinese has improved.
