Hey, my Baby is teethg. Cranky and cant nap. It doesn't help to have the aeroplanes flying around. Any solutions to make him feel better so that at least he can nap? Sad

have you tried bonjela ? it will numb the gums.

if that doesn't help, can see a doctor, probably get panadol.

It can be a real heartache to see baby feeling lousy and so uncomfortable. Keep cool and give lots of comfort to the baby. Way to provide comfort could be just hugging and holding the baby speaking gently to baby, this can be really reassuring to your child when you are cool.

Some other ways which you can try are, give him a teething aid or just gently rub baby's gum with your cleaned finger/cloth.
Remember to always wipe and clean off baby drool to help baby keep clean & comfortable throughout the day, and to prevent rashes or allergy which might make baby more lousy.

 hi kitty,

what i did for my girl earlier was i wrapped a small cloth with ice and intermittently place on near where shes teething, from the outside, not directly on the gum's surface.   that may help to relieve it as it reduces inflammed swelling gums and numb the nerve there.  smile  Always inform her befor hand why and what you are going to do before u begin.your baby can understand and will be more assured than thinking that you are about to give her more pain. its a psychological thing , anyone needs to  be mentally ready before accepting something with a postive effect. do update us on the outcome.
