No need to feel sad. You are not selling your place in Punggol, right? You can still come back for the weekends with your wife and baby. If you are coming back in 1-2 yrs time, let baby get used to Punggol too or will not be abt to when you move back later.

You can still get updates abt Punggol in this website and forum! 

Your wife is right. It's better for baby to be in the hands of grandparents than outsiders. Babies taken care by parents/grandparents will not get sick easily too!

yah, i am not selling my punggol field now - even thought i am eligible too..
I want my baby to grow up in punggol... 
My only worry is to get a good tenant for my house...
who will take care of it..
