Free medical services is possible, but it will come from all the tax payers' pocket. Will everyone be willing to do so?

In most countries across the world, tax payers money may go to defence, buying of equipments and arms for the defence of the country. Education, housing, hospitals , infrastructures, transport and others.

So how it was distributed, we really don't know, probably not necessary to know. If a very small percentage goes to providing free medical facilities for those age 81 and above. The amount may be just peanuts.  Smiley Smiley Surely tax payers won't mind. Ultimately, no mater where it goes, we still got to pay taxes.  Tongue

At least it is heartening to note, the authorities are giving an additional $100 on top of the announced $450 promised by the Finance Ministry to those old folks aged 81 and above.

The extra money is aimed at helping the 60,000 old folks 81 and above to meet the higher Medishield premiums. ( Something is better than nothing )  smile
