its pretty interesting that Comfort Delgro sets the price of taxi fares. okay, the companies renting out taxis set the price of fares.. but really all of them follows comfort delgro's lead.

then you have taxi drivers who disagrees with the peak hour charges, and want to revert to the old pricing.. and one of the taxi rental company disagrees, plus LTA sides with the taxi rental company saying it will lead to more touting.

why aren't the taxi driver associations setting the taxi fares? were the taxi drivers consulted?

it gets more interesting when you consider Comfort Delgro's sbstransit bus and rail operations probably benefited from the taxi fare hike.

 Smiley Big fish eats small fish. If the shark is swimming near, no matter how brave are the smaller fish, it is surely safer to keep a distance or better still , quickly navigate clear. YA ? Even the whale is frighten of the shark. oops
