Myself and hubby prefer to eat out...initially we cooked but after the hussle and bussle...to eat the same type of food for 2-3 days in a week is no joke...boring and kills the interest in cooking...so now our preferred choice is eating out which works out to be cheaper.

interesting....me and wife has tried to make variety the home cooked dishes last time but alas once we stopped cooking..due to time constraint..return home late, etc,..the food in the fridge turns bad and thus nowadays just buy the cooked food outside to avoid wastage. the fastest way to cook is to buy the pre-packed ingredients at ntuc...just need to add chicken/meat/fish/prawn and within 10 to 15mins all is done....

think cooking at home is cheaper, but it depends on how many people you gonna cook for, and if you have the time to cook.. We used to cook at home for 2 adults & 1 child.. but by the time we reach home is already 8pm, finish cookign at 8.30pm or 9pm.. guess the timing is too long for the child, so in the end we choose to eat out..
