Not GST they collect. GST is 7% from July onwards. How to charge GST for a cup of 80 cent coffee ?

They round it up to make it 90 cents lor ! So the increase is more than 7%....consumers suffer.

With supplies of coffee powder, milk and sugar increasing, it is normal for coffee price to increase.
A cup of ice-coffee in coffeeshop vs a cup of ice-blend in *-bucks or kopi-bean, big difference.
If people can tell hawkers not to increase their price, then who is going to pay for their cable tv subscription increment of $4?

Since things are going towards that direction, does that mean the frequency of us using 1 cent, 5 cents denominations will be phased out because the increases will mean the lowest denomination will be 10 cents ?

din your observe that already ... 1cent is merely for NTUC and they have started not collecting them already ... as for 5 cents, it still remains as NTUC and fast food joint thingy ...
