This is video clip 7.

Video shows carpenters working as a team on the roof truss, trimming spacers with portable electric tools. Safety is everybody concern when working on heights.

Noticed workers were wearing lengthy safety belts anchored to the rafters, moving, climbing cautiously as they worked.

Once the roof truss had been installed and thoroughly checked / inspected by it's Engineering team, preparing and laying of the following will be in sequence.

1. Wire nettings over roof truss.
2. Building paper over roof nettings.
3. The installation of corrugated roofing sheets.
4. The installation of terra-cotta roof tiles.

This is a video on terra-cotta roof tiles installation.

Matilda house as viewed from the neighbouring high-rise HDB BTO ( Punggol Sapphire ).

At this stage, the new roof depicting the old looks perfect and was almost completed by September 2014.

The roof extension above the  round-about drop-off centre, should be done soon.
