if it is ang mo supermarket(the name refer to "ang mo" as in ang mo kio,where they first started many years ago),they are similar to sheng shiong but by a much smaller scale.they have wide range of things that they sell,includes fresh produces as well as daily necessity.their prices are also very competitive compare to sheng shiong.they have branches in ang mo kio,bishan,hougang and toa payoh.
hopefully the news of they setting up a shop in punggol is correct,at least.we dont only have trees,plants....more trees.&more plants here......but also.......shooppppppppppppps!!!!!!! mad

i used to get my son milk powder from this shop at bishan....very cheap......hope we can have 1 of the branches here...... clapping

Well, found out dat Ang Mo shop in houg ave 8 have been closed 4 quite some time back. Tink dat outlet is moving here... Well, whoever is moving in, make it fast and better b gd, both in products and price... Hopefully it'll b better tis time round.  winked

When will it be up... think all residents in this area is really
desperately needing one supermarket here... Cry

yeah... its Hong Mao  (Ang Mo) supermarket...heard its from the laundry shop uncle.

hope it will be better this time ...although i have not step into their chains before..
