Here's an interesting poll.....

Is it a good idea to have a Sunday Market once a month. Perhaps to be held on a Rooftop Garden.

The theme will be clothes (used and new), handicrafts, home furnishing, decorative items, hand-made jewellery, art, second-hand goods and collectibles and most definitely food (not the pasar malam sort but more like gourmet coffee, sandwiches, fruit salads, ice cream, hot dogs etc.) No loud blaring music just a relaxing environment do browse and shop with the family. Starts at 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Something like that........

Good idea!!! I support tat... either by selling or browsing stuffs there...!!

I definitely support the idea  but I hv the following concern:
a) Holding at Rooftop garden are subject to weather therefore abit risky since the garden got no shelter
b) Too high up others maybe be able to see only those residence located around the rooftop will know there is one going on

Here are my suggestion:
1) Hold the Sunday Flea mkt on the ground level where human traffic can see and notice therefore generate crowd to check out the event
2) Prefer to be under shelter therefore dont hv to worry abt weather e.g. Atrium
3) Hv the flea mkt close to high human traffic area to create spillover effect e.g. somewhere near to PP where there is a Atrium for the event

sound good...not a bad idea...

But in punggol there was once the RC did it before i think somewhere last year near the cove LRT station voideck...Not much crowd thou...
