basically the problem lies with the marketing campaign of new flats..
in order to fetch higher selling peice, so have to give nice name and make it sound like condo ma..
hdb flat is hdb flat la.. no matter what name it has is still hdb la..
for me, what ever it is named.. even if called wat-so-ever sundial villa, or edgedale mansion, or even vista dump... still a hdb...
true lor... i live in boon lay/jurong west all my life... where got such names for flats one? all also boon lay place, boon lay ave, jurong west st XX, etc... and i actually prefer cos easier to remember! now so much fanciful names to remember, i can imagine next time shift to punggol le, even flats nearby also i may not remember wat name lor...
