Another poor fellow, after bringing joy to a family for 7 years, will soon be put to sleep...

*sign...*

It should be fine, as long as the next owner to take over your pet is responsible and must be a real pet lover. Cos I just adopted a 8 year old Jack Russell. It took him about 2 weeks to get used to us, and now he is a happy and cheerful dog! In fact he looks better now, was slightly overweight previously. Now he has new toys, his own bed, a bigger space to run ard, and we will bring him out to meet 'friends' at the dog run in bishan.

So just have to screen the next owner and I am sure your dog will still have many happy years to live.  Cheesy

And I strongly encourage all dog lovers to adopt pets instead of buying from pet shops. Watched Oprah show recently and it showed how the female dogs were used as commodities to breed puppies for their entire lifetime and then left to die. It seems to be somehow the same for puppy mills in Singapore.
Read this http://www.asdsingapore.com/ to find out more abt the abandoned pets in Singapore and there are many that need us to adopt. =)

Hi,

Are you keen in taking over? I've decided it bring it over to SPCA if still can't find any owner. As someone else just dump the dog at my place and my house i can't keep dogs so i had no choice.

Hi Yvonne,

I thought u mentioned this was YOUR dog? But now it is being dumped by someone else???  Huh? Huh? sigh...

Anyway, please re-consider sending to SPCA, as this poor maltese will be put to sleep.  Cry You can try calling "Action For Singapore Dogs Society", if you really cannot find another owner. Please dont forget that this dog has accompanied you and loved you for the past 7 years. It may be just a dog to some, but it is still a life we are talking about here.

Sorry, I am not able to take over another dog as I have a JR currently, and new baby coming soon.

Just hope you will make the right decison.

Hi All,

Due to some reason at home i have to give up my maltese.
Just cut his hair to botak. NO sickness/illness. Very healty.

Yes, now it's at our house. It's being dump by someone who take care of it till a few yrs old and just leave it at our house and not taking back even now. I know SPCA is put to sleep i only can try to find owner is no owner no choice to SPCA, i also have to spend money bring to SPCA.

BTW, i'm not a dog lover i can say that. They don't put to sleep i everyday cannot sleep! I have to look after my son already. Not sure how your dogs like but after your baby come out you might be in my shoe if their habit is same as my dog.
