How long does the banks take to clear the bank-in cheques?

Hi,

Anyone knows how long does the banks takes to clear the bank-in cheques after clearing and credited into our accounts directly?  It is 1 or 2 days?

My days here are working days, not public holidays.

Mon-Thur before 3:30pm, the money will be credited after 2pm the following day.

E.g you bank-in a cheque on Mon before 3:30pm, the money will be credited on Tue at 2pm. Meanwhile you can check through internet-banking the status of the cheque whether the cheque is in clear order not bounched cheque.

If you bank in after 3:30pm will be 2 days later. Even worst you bank-in on Fri after 3:30pm, money will be credited on Tues at 2pm.
