Hi anyone knows if our dear town council cleans up the area (with water and soap) after each time the multi purpose hall was used, either for community functions or funeral wake?

With all due respect to the dead (and I have no pblms wif d area being used 4 dat purpose), it can be quite uncomfortable thinking that children are rolling or sitting around the same spot where the coffin or offerings or alter was last placed..

On a seperate note, I returned home late one sat nite some half year back. While my friend was driving along the service road to drop me off at the loading/ unloading lots, we noticed papers flying in the air (caused by the motion of the car). As I opened the car door, one "hell note" almost flew into my friend's car! I then realised that the flying papers were all hell notes and they were lying all along the service road, the parking lots and some even flew into the void deck. Must have been left behind by the funeral possession earlier. It only got cleared on Mon morning...

Not angry cos I understand its customs.. Just a bit scary lah...

maybe they do maybe not...sometime we got to understand! this day Town council get sub contractor ..and those 'balaga' just go through the 'motion'.

As for the 'hell note'..we just have to bear with it..it only happens annually! If is a REAL note then it would be that scary Grin
