really? in what sense?
I thought it is a free will to give right?

Be careful when choosing a church to attend. Being an observer first. Once you feel comfortable you may want to convert to member.

For NCCs donations are voluntary and they pass the bag around during the end of service. Money goes to some other charity organizations. NKF was part of it unfortunately. Then as baptized Christians, we are encouraged to pay ties which come up to 10% of ur salary to the church. Thus, if you are told to pay for anything more, I think its not right.

to my understanding, the offering bags are being passed along the pews. It is up to you whether to give or not.

You mean you attended a church and they stare at you whether you give? Then this is not the right practise of that church. Better be careful.
