before i got myself a car i used to take feeder bus to punggol interchange and then mrt to outram then to jurong east... total travelling time is abt 1hr 20 mins

85 to Yishu (40 to 45min) follow by
Yishu MRT sta. to Boon Lay (about 1 hr)

or

Taxis to Yishu MRT (10 min) follow by
Yishu MRT sta. to Boon Lay (about 1 hour)

or

Punggol to Harbour front sta. (30min)  follow by taxis to Boon Lay (25min)

or

punggol sta. to senkang interchange follow by
965(20min) to yishu Sta.
follow by mrt from yishu to boon lay (about 1 hour)

come year 2010
Punggol sta. to Serangoon Sta. (10 min)
follow by circle line to BNV sta. (30 min?)
follow by BNV sta. to Boon Lay sta. (30 min)
