hi i would like to find out more info......can i organized a bbq on the roof top garden,do i need permit for that or just simply cannot have it there......at least those living in sengkang have their own bbq pit provided....if it can be done there on the rooftop garden,i dont mind organizing one, for all

i shared the same as hanzspeed. Sometimes i also feel the urge to organise BBQ at the rooftop (MSCP) garden just for a couple of friends (abt 6 pax) thats all something small and yet the place is cozy. Want to go toilet also easy which is to our nearby house.

I also comprehend the inconvenience it may caused bcos of having the above especially those staying just one or two floors above the rooftop sure curse and swear where the smoke, depend the wind blowing direction, will blow into their hse and get oily. But the rooftop is really a nice place for a BBQ even to the extend i thot of buying those children pool that you blow air and fill up water. I wanted to place one there and suntan while dipping inside the pool to chill.  Grin dont know again got pple go complain abt a naked person with the swimming costume exposing indecently in the public and kena arrested. hahahaha.............

Australia has electric coin-operated bbq all over the country place.

there's a few installed around Singapore.. those will be cleaner, for the rooftop bbqs.

won't have charcoal smoke.. but then.. my wife thinks bbq must have smoke then fun.  Roll Eyes

I have a children pool like the one you mentioned. use it once last yr when the weather was so hot, put it outside my unit, fill with water and let my boys with in it. cool man... after that use the water to wash the corridor.
also did a bbq (no one staying beside my unit) 1 yr ago along the corridor.
a friend organised a moon-cake festival celebration last yr at the roof garden complete with mooncake, pomelo, chinese tea and lantarns for the kids. so cozy  Wink
