Rumours has it that PP will be reducing the size of the wet market at the basement and have the stallholders move to the back.. In it's place at the front (where the fruit stalls are) will be MacDs!

As it is, Dodo (yong tao fu stall) has closed. The rest of the stallholders may be walking out as well as they are not thrilled at being chucked to the rear.. Hopefully, we will not see the demise of our wet market coz if it does go, valuation of our property will also drop..  Cry

Don't flame me if these rumours do not come true.. however, a particular stallholder has told me that he has already received a letter from PP management on their intent as the leases of the stallholders are expiring..

Cheers to MacDs but I wish Hang Ten would go instead..

Hopefully. We could sure use the variety. Doubt if the wet market will go. Too many people are dependant on it Smiley

Well, MacD will definitely provide variety and cater to the younger crowd but I seriously hope it's not at the expense of the wet market..

Like Fire76, I would much prefer the wet market.. Let's hope we can have both..  Tongue
