hi pple..

i just got a new oven, and it set me thinking..

would anyone be interested in this?
have a monthly session of cooking gathering?

we will try out cooking different cuisines (Asian, Mediterranean, European, Japanese, Korean, etc...) during each session.  and each session will have a starter, main course, and dessert.  we will adjust the food portions depending on the number of people turnout on each session.  probably limited to 8 (considering our small kitchens) each time.  we would take turns going to different members homes to do, that member would not have to pay for the food costs during that session (just to be fair).
everyone can give suggestions on which recipes to use, and it would be subjected to voting by the attendees.

some will be in charge of buying the ingredients.
some will take care of washing and cleaning up.
everyone will participate in the preparation (and the eating).

how does that sound?

aiyah.. it's a learning session for everyone lah.. dunno how to cook, learn.. we are not born to cook right?

i'm staying in 110B.

practice makes perfect.  if you know totally nothing at first.. then contribute by washing dishes, or buying ingredients.  after see see look look, know already, then your turn to do.  if your house no oven, then you help washing and preparing lah.

honestly speaking, i dunno how to cook also.  but i thought, few heads are better than 1 right?  i always wanted to experiment cooking different cuisines dishes.. it'd be interesting.  if this time we do this dish not nice, can think together.. what did we put in too little or put in too much?

can be pastries, can be main courses.. anything we think of.

this is meant as a "foodie exchange".
