Any good dinner place to recommend?

I am planning to organise a gathering for my lady friends  do you have any good recommendation for dinner and place for chit chat ? Will prefer central area, such as Dhoby Ghaut, Town area. Pls recommend. Thks.

their food is good affordable. the place's good for chats if u dun mind the seats. otherwise after eating, move across the street to TCC NAFA for a good chat over some nice dessert. =)
