Kai,

Romantic is slightly there but not touching loh.  Embarrassed the show is slow and you keep asking yourself why they can't do this and that and must ...... dont reveal too much lah. Let you decide whether to see or not. Otherwise you may ask around those that watch it to get better opinion of the show.

Next for me is Dragon Tiger Gate, hope that don't disappoint me as the past two movies i watch  Cry

hmm.. i've read some critics saying dragon tiger gate not fantastic...do share your thots on the movie after watching it k  Wink
besides the lake house, i'm actually contemplating catching 1, fast & furious;  2, click;  3, my super ex-girlfriend.
i read from a critic's piece that f&f is not that good - it's a hollywood version of hk show "tou2 wen2 zi D"...
well, i'll prob watch it just for the cheap thrill of experiecing two-dimensional speed and light flashes from the big screen then  Roll Eyes

Yup next is Dragon Tiger Gate, probably next week. Also may consider to catch are Click (Trailer quite funny) & TFTF: Tokyo Drift (You are right that they somehow modify the HK Initial D" but still watch how they film it for the speed thrill)

is it really that bad?  Undecided
i am actually thinking of watching it cos' seems like a touching romantic story.
but i read that it is an adaptation from a japanese show.. so maybe i should watch the "original" japanese show...hmm...  Roll Eyes

The original is a Korean movie called 'Il Mare' ... meaning 'House by the Lake'.  I watched it twice, it's very nice.  The location of the house is awesome ...

i thought Lake House was pretty alright. although the plot was pretty predictable, but if you ignore these points and just enjoy the movie, it was rather nice.

so i think if you're just planning to watch it, then go and enjoy it. otherwise, yeah, wait for the dvd.  winked
