Hi,

Anyone had watched the movie Ah Long Pte Ltd during the CNY festival at the cinema?

It is a nice show worth to watch or shall we watch CJ7 instead of this show at the cinemas?

Thank you and hoped to hear from you soon. Undecided

Ah Long Pte Ltd sux according to reviews. It retains little of our local jokes with Fann Wong trying to hard to look serious until she looks stiff. Mark Lee acting sissy gets irritating after awhile and the whole movie has no direction with a crappy ending.

Dont noe abt CJ7. But just imagine Stephen Chow trying to make you cry. Thats what his movie about. Try to be touching. Its like Stephen King trying to make you laugh.

CJ7 is definitely the less of two evils.

From the movie review on Good Morning Singapore, the critic mentioned the two movies worth watching is CJ7 or Kung Fu Dunk. One is slow paced and the latter being a faster paced movie. And he picked Kung Fu Dunk coz it was faster paced. Heard CJ7 is a little slow.

Jack Neo's movies are outta the league already. No matter what, he seems to force one movie out every year for the sake of LNY. And because of that, movies start to S**K.
