Some 3,600 Singaporeans donate S$450,000 in GST Credits
By May Wong, Channel NewsAsia | Posted: 22 June 2007 1605 hrs
""SINGAPORE: Some 3,600 Singaporeans have donated their GST Credits totalling S$450,000 to registered charities. ""

1,500 of them have annual Assessable Income of between S$24,000 and S$100,000. Their GST Credits amounted to S$190,000.

The beneficiary charities include Children's Cancer Foundation and Assisi Hospice.

Wow.....anyone knows who are all those wanderfully kind souls ? Making 100 K per year.....sounds ok lar to donate. BUT BUT BUT making 24 K per year......also not qualify to apply for a credit card.....My god , whats happening ?? Shocked

Yes, people are kind naturally but seems like their kindness have been taken for granted lately...just look at the St. John recent news on the superintendant gone missing with 3.8 million. His younger son is a doctor..he could just for family support if in trouble..why need to go such length...*sigh*..
