The electronic road pricing (ERP) rates for 32 of 65 gantries will increase by between 50 cents and S$2.00. The gantries are primarily in the Central Business District (CBD) and Orchard Road.

Five new ERP gantries along the Singapore River will also be activated on July 7.

Traffic in the CBD is slowing down, said the Land Transport Authority (LTA). So in January, as part of its Master Plan, the LTA came up with a new way to measure speed.

Expected it,  they give me gst offset package of $200....now i have to return it back many times more.    Aiyoh, this is what they call unsincere help.  All of us muz learn from Taiwan.   KMT rules for very long, then one day, the ppl can't stand them anymore (exactly like our govt). During election, they elect them out.  Oppossition won.  Now, KMT learn and wake up.   After they won the lastest election.....now they are more aware of the plight of ordinary citizens.   My taiwanese frens now said, KMT are much better then the older KMT.  They used to be like PAP, but now they are more human, caring, listen and help its ppl.

We sud do that.   Not that PAP is no good, but we need somebody to wake them up.

SINGAPORE: More than a year after veteran opposition politician Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam announced he was forming a new political party and making a political comeback, the Reform Party is now an officially-registered society.

The party — for which Mr Jeyaretnam serves as interim secretary-general — received approval from the Registry of Societies for its for application on Tuesday, confirmed party chairman Ng Teck Siong.

Hopefully more and more people will join to cast these incompetent ministers from PAP. So what if these Pappys are scholars, Catholic High alumni, ultimately their jobs are not done properly.
