its all very simple. this government will never support any policy that will cause businesses to have lower profit margins and thereby affecting business owner's and upper management's salary.

why? coz this will remove the government's excuse to pay themself million dollar salaries

In this case, probably they are refering to wage increases verses inflation. They are also refering to small and medium enterprises only.

One component that has been built into the wage system is the monthly variable component (MVC). There are many pages to read, but what it really means is : - The SME's allow a total of 10% point to play about for the annual increments. Economy good increase pay by max. 10 %, no good maybe between 1 to 5% point. So the poor workers increment is always minimal. ( hope I am right )

The authorities are different. They are comparing to top CEO's in Multi-National-Companies (MNC), whose increment amounts to thousands. So increments of 10 to 20 K or more per month, maybe is no sweat. Shocked Shocked

Raising wages = rising cost ( as a worker this should be the equation )
