Come 2012, in 3 years time, the Manpower Ministry looks set to implement the re-employment law.

Bosses are required to give older workers payouts, average range from 3 to 6 months. On reaching age 62, if bosses are not re-hiring, workers has to be compensated.

This one off payment is to tide those workers over while they look for alternative employment somewhere. 

  Looks like in future, one has to work and work as long as he can stand on his two foot.
