What to do? We have Kiasu government. So we are the employees of Singapore have to follow the leader. We can't even go for demostration/riots.

either way... we still lose. double sigh. my travel cost is just going up up up. Most times, I'm spending more on travel than lunch and breakfast in a day.

Well it is expected..when taxi fares increase, the bus and MRT will follow suit.  Its not new....just that everything is not spaced out evenly. Cab fares increase for one, two months then its the bus and MRT.....

as usual reasons like ...fuel prices increase, increase manpower costs, shorter lead time, better service provided so got to increase fares, then with the new CIRCLE LINE coming up, too so public transport is definitely NOT CHEAP NOWADAYS anymore in Singapore... but comparing them with other countries like Japan/US, we are still on the low side (that will be the providers arguments for raising fares.) Roll Eyes
