Anyone got any idea why the estate along Edgefield Plains (the one just behind the SPC petrol kiosk)has no name? Or is it that I'm unaware of it?

Presumably, those flats along Edgefield Plains and those facing the Expressways are not on Built-To-Order flats. They are built earlier for Singaporeans who are attracted to our SM's vision of Punggol 21.

When flats in Punggol are over-built and no longer in demand  2 to 3 years ago, Mr MA come up with this idea. If anyone wants a flat in Punggol 21, booking is necessary. Scare built nobody wants lah. Thats why........ Smiley

So we have this so called Built To Order Flats. Of course to further attract Singaporeans to move to Punggol from elsewhere, fantastic names has to be given. So from there onwards, you have all the beautiful names to your HDB parcel. Also roads are name differently for added attractions. People may think, it is a private residential estate. Yah .....

Of course, the BTO flats encaving the Taiwan Temple has the best name so far. Wait lah more to come........

In fact all the flats along the Punggol Field Road along LRT tracks, all no names given to our cluster. We used LRT station name as our cluster name. E.g Cove, Meridian, Oasis, Coral, etc

Ya man! I've been wondering abt tat too... I'm staying around that cluster, the nearest LRT is Meridien, but the cc there is called Oasis... and then the forum here says Meridian is for the opposite side (prime market) that cluster.  Therefore, dunno which cluster we belong to :p
