Hmmm, not too expensive but I'd much prefer a Fisher and Paykel.
However, I'm just more concerned about the power consumption


A dryer is very handy..somedays when I'm lazy drying the laundry, it goes into the dyer.  BTW, mine is a F&P but I don't used it often..except during rainy or lazy days so power consumption is minimal. 

I have not hanged my laundry out for a very long time.
