Hi punggolian ,
Don't you agree that punggol(the jungle) have too much trees near the residents home/ buildings thus cause a lots of insects and mosquitoes ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  mad  My children have been bitten and got lots of scar and itch all over the body.

What your comment and recommend ... ?

Recently blk 174 there  have their trees  clear ? do you know how and why ?

The trees do not actually contribute to mosquitoes, more likely it was the stagnant water in the drains or some inconsiderate neighbours with potted plants because there wasn't any problems with mosquitoes with the trees around then.

Actually I was pretty sad to see the trees gone, there used to be birds singing in them and they provide such wonderful shade in the day. The driveway used to look so cool and inviting, but now it just looks so parched and hot.

Why did the town council removed all those trees? and not to mention that the driveway was filled with cement instead of the original interlocking tiles. I really hope that the authorities do not cause any more damage to our environment than it is.

I have called Town council to check too. is bcos some trees planted by HDB since day 1 the species is not suitables - blame HDB lah always ...
