Recently we saw in our media of a child whose leg was caught in between the doors of a moving SMRT bus.  mad

On reaching their destination, the grand-mother alighted first with grand-daughter followed behind. Not knowing the child is in the process of alighting, the Bus Caption close the door, caught her legs in between, the bus moved on dragging the kid along for a metre.

The grand-mother hold on to the child's torso, moving along with the bus and at the same time shouted for the bus to stop. Angry

The child's mother reported the incident and the bus company replied.........saying they are sorry to hear of the incident. The Traffic Police is investigating the matter, the Service Leader is suspended from duty.

Cannot understand, the Bus Driver, next becomes a Bus Caption , now known as Service Leader. Whatever it may be , the incident is serious, something has to be done quickly, justice taken, child compensated and stern actions taken very quickly. Why drag on ? Huh? Huh?

sometimes when waiting for bus from Punggol interchange, saw many bus drivers under training. They seem from another country which needs about 3-4 hrs plane ride.
