 Grin  haha..i dun think the pigs died bcos of that...i used to live in a punggol pig farm during my childhood days n i dun remember the pigs died due to the noise...If tat happens, how can there be so many pig farms in punggol ? moreover, the pig farms r there for more than 10yrs leh... Tongue

Suggest tat they should relocate the airbase to Seletar airbase..over there is less populated..
hey, by the way did anyone ever highlight this issue to our MP during the meet the pple session ?
For those staying at home, we will know tat this noisy thing actually happen EVERYDAY...tsk tsk tsk..v bad noise pollution n i pity those wif babies who r light sleeper.. Sad

EEERrrrrrr.... Seletar airbase is nearer than Paya lebar airbase leh........

Oh..is tat so..!? i dun think so leh...hav a friend staying at blk 126 (high flr facing the paya lebar airbase directions) and from her hse, we can see those planes landing n taking off fm that airbase...Although the name is 'paya lebar' but this place is quite big n i guess the plane runway stretches until the old tampines road which is v near to TPE..  winked

Anyhow, chilliqueen, you are a Punggol kid right. You mean you didn't realise that Punggol has military airplane noise?

I don't mind those amenities, I like the quiet place here. Piss me off is the airplane noise. I stayed in Punggol area for 24 hrs. Not like some of you go out in the morning, only back in the evening. Do you know the late morning and afternoon time, how noisy the planes are. You can ask the students and teachers in Mee Toh, Edgefield. I think they are the best people to feedback.
Now is also the funny smell. What the heck.....
