The noise and lights from the construction has affected his sleep and he told STOMP that he usually woke up early to go to work.
He sent in these videos and an email to STOMP today (26 Oct), in which he wrote:
“Greendale Primary at Punggol has been undergoing construction for almost a year.
“Residents have been complaining about the mosquitoes and late night construction which has been going on way after 7pm and even on Saturdays and Sundays.
“Complaints have been claimed to be made to NEA, and even to Punggol MP Teo Ser Luck during his recent walkabout last weekend but nothing has changed.
“The construction lately has gotten worse; they are still working on the construction as of 11:15pm on Thursday (25 Oct).
“The company has been ignoring residents' complaints and checks by the authorities and the authorities do not seem to take this seriously.”
