burning of ashes

I have seen many groups actually burning those stuff at the end of Punggol Field road, near Punggol Plaza.... once a group even released Big lanterns around mid night... so creepy and scary and also air pollution 

most of the time, ppl burning those stuff beside the newly built temple.  when the wind is strong, the ashes even fly into our blk 166b.
also saw the big lanterns, so eerie when one of it didn't fly up, but just creeping along the side of the road.

one of the lanterns went floating along the same level as my flat. its as tall as an adult.

its very dangerous for planes. those kong ming lanterns fly up very high.

well have to repect it ....cos is for the gods. just close the window lor ...sometime they just want the love one to have a better afterlife
so i am always very ok with it . Anyway the gate is opening in 9 days so more burning. Just have a open mind u will be fine.

yah the seventh month is coming.......well at least when you do the hell note offering (burning) pls do it in the bins provided lah so as not to have ashes flying around and also not damaging the area.......worst scenarios,sometimes when the ashes fly around, there's still flames........don't end up burnt the whole flat........the government is banning smoking here and there......can't imagine the smoke generated from the offerings.....will definitely be worst than cigarretes.
