BLK 128 NEEDS EXTERIOR PAINT URGENTLY

I a resident of Blk 128 for 5yrs, over the yrs neighbours have complaint of the paint work as well as the patch up with different colours.

lastly, most of the living room suffer from cracks and fall off concrete, refered to TC:refered us to Main Con: thenz u do yourself....etc.. I have given up hope on them.

Think someone came to make an inspection of the block this afternoon, but it was raining, hope they can still see the critical condition ...............

I tink its time we takeover the Town Council.  Every month they collected ard $1.36M pm or ard $16.3M pa(Avg $68pm x 20,000 households (i tink its these much)).    Where are all these $$$ gone too.

If we are staying in a private condominium.....the town council mgt should be sacked long time ago.    For that amt of $$$, there is lot of thing we could do to maintain Punggol.   Even resident do not need to pay for car park with that amt of $$$.   Carpark alone by rough estimation, $90pm x let say 5,000 cars in punggol, that's $450,000 pm or $5.4M pa.   Where do all these $$$ goes too???

Can we choose a private estate management?  Can the govt change the policy to open up estate management to many experienced and cheaper companies.   I hope the govt take it seriously to open up this lucrative bizness to private companies.

I don't think garmen will let a private company take over the maintenance of our estate...You did the maths, $16.3M pa for 20,000 household is so much money already, they might be making tons of  profit, do you think they will give up to a private company ?     

They employ 1 man to "jaga" the sweeping and mopping of the lift of 1 cluster of about 3 to 4 blocks. Another 2 man to "jaga" the washing of the flats for 5 to 6 clusters.

Let say Punggol field Road alone has 20,000 households about 15 clusters. 1 cluster 1 man cleaning and sweeping the floor.. Another 6 man for washing the flats for the 15 clusters. Each man perhaps salary $2,000 a month so total 15x2000 + 6x2000 = 42K round it to about 50K a month or 600K a year.. this is an estimate maybe the bangla TC employ might be paying them less than 2K per month.

600K versus 16.3M hmmm doubt TC want to give up this lucrative business to a  private company !!!
