Hi Tom,

Thank you for your updates.  In my personal opinion, the progress of the waterway is way too slow. The scheduled completion date should be by the Q1 2011. I doubt it will be completed by then.

You're welcome.....

By the look of it, it can easily take another 12 solid months to complete the waterway or even longer.....

Of course, they would blame the delay to probably alterations to drawings based on site conditions, lack of foreign experience workers, unforseen problems and so on. It's a cause and effect problem. Whenever there is a problem, there must be a cause..........

Surely they won't say, oh....sorry..." we overlook the unforeseen, it's our mistake .....we should have started the project earlier ".

The open field in front of bridge, next to the Punggol MRT station is to be developed into a mixed commercial and residential complex.

Land area estimated to be 30,000 square metres.

Tenders called, closing date is 15 Feb. 2011.
